We’re so excited to welcome you to Belize to celebrate with us at the beautiful Alaia Resort on Ambergris Caye!
Below is everything you need to know to make your arrival smooth and stress-free.
🛬 Arrive in Belize City (BZE)
All guests will first fly into Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City.
Now you must get to San Pedro Island!
✈️ Option 1:
Flight to San Pedro

Take a short 15-minute flight from Belize City to San Pedro Airport (SPR) via Tropic Air or Maya Island Air.

We recommend booking in advance—flights run frequently and offer gorgeous aerial views of the reef and cayes.

Once you land in San Pedro, Alaia provides complimentary airport pickup. YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR FLIGHT INFORMATION IN ADVANCE TO RECEIVE SHUTTLE SERVICE TO/FROM SAN PEDRO AIRPORT. PLEASE FILL OUT THIS FORM TO PROVIDE YOUR FLIGHT INFORMATION. AIRPORT TRANSFER FORM HERE
Option 2:
Water Taxi to San Pedro

Take a shuttle (30–45 minutes) or taxi from the airport (at your own expense) to the Belize City water taxi terminal, then board the San Pedro Belize Express or Ocean Ferry.

The water taxi takes about 1 hour and is a scenic ride across the Caribbean Sea.

When you arrive at the San Pedro ferry terminal, Alaia provides complimentary pickup. YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR FERRY INFORMATION IN ADVANCE TO RECEIVE SHUTTLE SERVICE TO/FROM SAN PEDRO DOCK. PLEASE FILL OUT THIS FORM TO PROVIDE YOUR FLIGHT INFORMATION. FERRY TRANSFER FORM HERE

Golf carts are the main mode of transportation on the island and are available to rent through the hotel or local vendors.

Kick off the wedding weekend with some sunshine, good vibes, and even better company! Join us for a casual poolside meet & greet at the gorgeous Alaia Resort Pool — your first chance to mix, mingle, and toast to the fun ahead!
👙 Don’t forget to pack your favorite swimsuit.
🍹 Food & beverages will be available for purchase, so come ready to sip, snack, and say hello!

Post-Wedding Beach Day

The celebration continues!
Join us the day after the wedding for a optional fun and relaxing beach day at Secret Beach—a tucked-away paradise perfect for soaking up the sun and keeping the good vibes going.
Meet in the Alaia Hotel Lobby at 11:30 AM to kick off the day with the group.
Guests will need to rent a golf cart to make the scenic ride to the beach. Carts are available for rental (at your expense) directly from the Alaia Hotel.
Don’t forget your swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen—we’ll see you at the beach!

Hotel Checkout: Most guests will check out by 11:00 AM.
Please confirm with your hotel’s front desk on the time of you should meet in the hotel lobby for your Airport Transfers to get you to San Pedro Airport. To get to your water taxi (ferry), the resort can arrange for transportation, please check with hotel concierge.
